The sad and shocking news about future Hall of Famer and boxing legend Oscar de la Hoya going into drug rehab has to be juxtaposed against the comeback feat of Bernard Hopkins, who became the world’s oldest boxing titleholder at the age of 46.
Hopkins defeated Canada’s Jean Pascal via unanimous decision for the world’s light heavyweight title, surpassing George Foreman, who recaptured the heavyweight crown at the age of 45 and 10 months.
