He is the only Major League catcher to ever have hit .330 or better with 40 doubles, 20 home runs, and 90 RBIs in a single season. Posada and Yogi Berra are the only Yankees catchers to hit 30 home runs in a season. Since 2000, Posada has had more runs batted in, home runs, and hits than any other catcher in baseball.

And why is he hot in google trends? Some drama...

Of all the words - spoken and otherwise - about the Jorge Posada affair, none were as insightful as those uttered Sunday night by John (Pa Pinstripe) Sterling, seconds before the first pitch of Red Sox-Yankees.

Suzyn (Ma Pinstripe) Waldman sounded relieved declaring the Posada controversy officially over. "You're right, it's out of the way," Sterling said. "But I think it was good for the sport. Look at all the attention it brings. Next week it will be another cause celeb."
